    VT Group is seeking a Recruiter located in San Diego, CA.

    Responsibilities

    Responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the project deliverables. A key objective of this role is to ensure high quality service and customer satisfaction that is consistently maintained and achieved. As a member of VT Group, this position focuses on high-touch relationship management of external customers and candidates as well as internal business partners.

    • Build trust and confidence with key client stakeholders through the relationship building process
    • Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and make constructive suggestions for change, including opportunities to increase customer satisfaction
    • Be a constant contributor for areas of improvement in the recruiting process.
    • Utilize Applicant Tracking System and other program tools to track, maintain and process candidates
    • Use detailed screening and selection criteria to identify qualified candidates and determine the relevant strength of the candidates
    • Source and network for uncleared and cleared candidates to support work locations across the country and some international work
    • Create offer letters, initiate background and reference checks
    • Creating pipeline of candidates to meet existing and upcoming needs.
    • Consult with Hiring Managers to identify clients’ technical skills needs and implement effective sourcing strategies to successfully place candidates; work with Hiring Managers to identify required core competencies to ensure successful long-term hires
    • Develop and maintain network and relationships beneficial to recruitment goals
    • Maintain responsibility for tracking recruiting activity and other metrics, and ensuring compliance with OFCCP; works with Talent Acquisition team to ensure annual Affirmative Action Plan goals are met
    • Maintenance of applicants and candidates in the ATS and proper processing of all applicant and new hire paperwork
    • Provide communicative and professional information to candidates and program managers throughout the recruitment process
    • Contribute to recruitment process improvements and goals
    • Participate in job fairs and trade shows as needed
    • Other duties as may be assigned

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelors Degree in related field
    • 3 years experience

     

    Other:

    • Government Contracting experience preferred
    • Familiar with sourcing on various job boards and able to network
    • Expert-level experience with sourcing tools
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools
