    VT Group is seeking Resource Coordinator located in Charleston, SC  

    Responsibilities

    Assists Resource Manager in developing a personnel resource plan and overseeing assigned personnel’s career path to included training and qualifications.

     

    Maintains manpower requirement and projection file.

     

    Assists Resource Manager with:

     

    • Assigning personnel to tasks based on input from Project Teams to ensure that the best possible mix of personnel are assigned to facilitate the best probability of success for all projects. Upon assignment of personnel will make required changes in Deltek timekeeping for supervisor assignment.
    • Maintaining an accurate and up to date production schedule for the division to include schedule dates and manpower requirements along with employee assignments to ensure level loading of personnel and projections of workload or manpower shortages.
    • Interviewing personnel and hiring recommendations.
    • Coordinating training.
    • Tracking and reviewing end of job evaluations.
    • Writing 90 day and annual evaluations.
    • Review and assign Job Performance Appraisal Forms. Overall POC for all technicians for direction in various personal and professional matters
    • Coordinate with PM’s as to description of work and schedule. Assign and deploy technicians on tasking based on availability, experience, and training.

    Assists Project Teams in resolving personnel issues (visit jobsites as necessary).

     

    Qualifications

    Education/Experience:

    • BS plus three year experience in related field, or AS plus seven years experience in related field; or HS plus twelve years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior defense contracting or military experience preferred.

     

    Mathematical Skills:

    • Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry.  Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

     

    Computer Skills:

    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have a working knowledge of Internet software and Microsoft Office software. Advanced experience with project management applications, particularly MS Project.  Advanced experience with spreadsheet applications, particularly MS Excel. Importing data from a variety of sources and in a variety of formats, using numerous functions, and creating formulas.
