    VT Group is seeking a Pricing Analyst located in Chantilly, VA.

    Responsibilities

    • Assists with implementation of price strategy through full cost/price proposal volume preparation
    • Responsible for complying with corporate policies, procedures, underlying Federal, state and/or local regulations concerning realistic cost estimates
    • Reviews solicitations to identify pricing requirements and contractual terms and conditions
    • Develop price proposals in accordance with FAR, CAS, and Corporate Disclosure Statement
    • Lead price strategy discussions, pricing reviews, and provide multiple scenarios for consideration along with price/risk tradeoff analyses with senior management
    • Perform analysis and utilize quantitative and mathematical skills to provide “what if” scenarios and other financial modeling
    • Responsible for the preparation of the cost volume, to include pricing spreadsheet, supporting documentation, and cost narrative.
    • Prepare Schedule B tables and/or required customer templates for submission.
    • Perform reviews of proposals priced by other pricing analysts for quality assurance purposes
    • Track proposal-related metrics to support organizational reporting
    • Works with division leads to determine anticipated labor rates, subcontracting requirements, material requirements, equipment costs
    • Conducts special studies on labor requirements to establish baseline costs or effect cost reductions
    • Perform analysis and utilize quantitative and mathematical skills to provide "what if" scenarios and other financial modeling
    • Analyzes estimates against previous cost experience and recommends adjustments
    • Maintain complete, accurate, and auditable files to include required supporting documentation
    • Provide exceptional customer service offering advice, guidance, and solutions

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Master’s Degree preferred.
    • 7 years of experience in related field.
    • Advanced or expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
    • Ability to work flexible hours on an as needed basis when dictated by proposal deadlines
    • Knowledge of different contract, solicitation, and agreement types to include Fixed Price, Cost Reimbursement, Time and Materials/Labor Hour, Non-Disclosure Agreements and Teaming Agreements
    • Working knowledge of the FAR; ability to read and understand prime contracts
    • Excellent analytical and communication skills
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of management
    • Ability to work flexible hours on an as needed basis when dictated by proposal deadlines
    • Experience with government contracting to include pricing, financial analysis, and contracts is desired
    • Expertise with contract types, including firm fixed price, time and materials (T&M), cost-plus, and ID/IQ contracting, as well as working with a diverse range of customers is desired
