    VT Group is seeking a Project Coordinator located in Virginia Beach, VA.


    • Assists the Project Manager in planning, directing, overseeing, coordinating, and resolving technical issues for assigned tasks.
    • Assists in scheduling and arranges for delivery of material and equipment for prefabrication and subsequent delivery to the installation site.
    • Monitors availability of material, equipment, and tools to ensure that the proper resources are available as needed.
    • Ensures that disposition of excess material is accomplished in accordance with direction from the Project Manager.
    • Monitors POA&M progress and assists with EVMS.
    • Coordinates with Resource Manger for required training requirements.
    • Initiates travel requests and ensures submission of expense reports.
    • Initiates requests for Field Purchase Reports.
    • Assists in obtaining, tracking, and reporting of information required for daily, weekly, and monthly reports, Task Order closeout, and other deliverables.
    • Assists in the development of the T&I Book.
    • Provides personnel information to Security for visit requests.


    Education and/or Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree and one year of related leadership/supervisory experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Must have shipboard installation experience.
    • Prior defense contracting or military experience preferred.


    Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

    • Secret security clearance
    • Valid driver's license


    Other Qualifications:

    • Some travel required. Must be able and willing to travel.
    • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Microsoft Office Products.


    This position is contingent upon contract award.
