    VT Group is seeking a Senior Analyst- Tech Pubs located in Huntsville, AL

    Responsibilities

    • Review technical data that is the source of provisioning, RPSTL, and other equipment publications and maintenance programs.
    • Evaluate Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and publications change requests (PCRs) for impact to maintenance concepts/philosophies.
    • Investigate and furnish replies to DA Form 2028s and other related correspondence.
    • Responsible for all initial and follow on provisioning of new and established items, to include assistance and service to supply personnel, relative to interchangeability and substitutability of parts.
    • Review, evaluate, accept and/or reject the provisioning data from OEM and contractors.
    • Verify publications and provisioning data at contractor/government sites to ensure adequacy of technical contents.
    • Investigate, analyze, and take action to correct equipment deficiencies reported by equipment users.
    • Knowledgeable of equipment requirements, policies, and procedures as they pertain to assigned system or subsystem requirements.
    • Knowledgeable of, database maintenance and the interfaces with LMP, PowerLOG-J, LSA-030 and LSA-036 Reports and other functions for assigned equipment.
    • Interface with PowerLOG-J and defense integrated data systems activities to assure processing of National Stock Number (NSN) requests and related maintenance activities associated with item identification and compatibility.
    • Participate in system and subsystem provisioning documentation to verify processes of determining and acquiring the range and quantity of support items (e.g., spares, repair parts, bulk materiel, tools and test equipment) necessary to operate and maintain a system for initial / follow-on provisioning.  
    • Experience with standard provisioning technical documentation.
    • Experience with DoD 4100.39 and Federal Logistics Information System.
    • Experience with PowerLOG version 1.74 and LMP. 
    • Perform provisioning for new/existing weapon systems to develop Repair Parts Special Tools Lists (RPSTLs), to support Electronic Technical Manuals (ETMs)/Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs).
    • Review and update provisioning data, e.g., Provisioning Bill of Material (PBOM); RPSTL, to ensure adequate repair parts coverage due to system changes, e.g., initial/follow-on provisioning. 
    • Review and analyze contractor provisioning deliverables, and determine requirements for acceptance of such deliverables.
    • Input data into the PBOM and processes National Stock Number (NSN) requests, Supply Support Requests (SSRs)
    • Attend provisioning meetings with PMs, contractors, etc. Attends provisioning Integrated Process Team (IPT) meetings
    • Develop and/or review documentation (e.g., contract SOWs, ECPs, DCNs) required for the overall provisioning effort for life cycle phases.
    • Conduct in-process review verifications, on-site meetings (table top reviews) and hands-on maintenance reviews, this includes over-sight, all scheduling, and provide Subject Matter Expert guidance on acceptance or rejection of publications material from the Original Equipment Manufacturer.
    • Review and coordinate with Publications Services, equipment specialist, and editors to verify accuracy of text and graphics within each technical manual prior to release to the printing office.
    • Provide recommendations on equipment to be used to perform maintenance task and provide recommendations on the total number of labor hours and skill set it would take to perform tasks during validations and verifications.
    • Travel Requirements: Up to 15%.

    Qualifications

    • BS/BA degree with eight years of relevant experience
    • High School with 11 years of relevant experience
