VT Group is seeking Product Manager (PM AME) located in Huntsville, AL

Responsibilities

  • Provides subject matter expertise on Avionics maintenance, and tactical computer systems in support of aviation systems. Prepares ECP and MWO documentation to support in house computer system improvements.
  • Implements change modifications worldwide in support of MWO implementation plans. Analyzes software support planning for integrated avionics equipment to determine life cycle support requirements compliance for the Automatic Test Equipment/Test Program Sets (ATE/TPS) and Quality Software Division, Directorate for Life Cycle Software Engineering, AMCOM. 
  • Provides technical support for automated test systems evaluations, TPS and software support operations. 
  • Performs Logistics Support Analysis on weapons systems and support equipment developing Logistics Impact data. 
  • Performs and prepares Manpower Estimate Reports to evaluate manpower impacts of force modernization actions. 
  • Performs trade-off analysis, concept formulation/definition and evaluation and requirements analysis.
  • Reviews technical data to include Support Strategy, Material Fielding Plans, Repair Parts and Special Tools lists, Level of Repair Analysis and other technical data to support Total Ownership Cost Reduction analysis of Avionics and supporting special purpose Test Measurement and Diagnostic Equipment. 
  • Design, develop, fabricate, operate and manage the U.S. Army's Post Deployment Software Support Facility for ATE.  Recruit and developed a project team to perform the task of creating a single facility capable of providing total life cycle support for the AH-64A ATE software, TPS and maintenance trainer software.
  • Responsible for the technical support of AH-64A Apache communications, electronics, electro-optical and armament systems, including the Automatic Test Systems Electronic Equipment Test Facility. 
  • Review engineering changes, publications, logistics support analysis, training materials and devices to insure accuracy, completeness, clarity, consistency and readiness. 
  • Train site personnel on the use and function of the ATE system and specific test programs. 
  • Perform independent engineering analysis of ATE test program field problems. 
  • AH-64A Program Manager's technical representative at TPS acceptance tests and design reviews.
  • Manage maintenance and supply support for an organization composed of 205 combat aircraft and 165 tactical communications systems. 
  • Provide analysis and guidance to command and staff elements concerning the operation of organizational, direct support, Aviation Unit Maintenance and Aviation Intermediate Maintenance (AVIM) and supply functions. 
  • Develop an integrated computer logistics and maintenance management system which interfaces maintenance and supply.
  • Develop on-line customer query response system providing time sensitive logistics and maintenance to communication sites throughout the western pacific area.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • High School Graduate or GED and 20 years of task related job experience.

Clearance:

  • Active Secret.
