Overview

VT Group is seeking Healthcare Maintenance and Repair Technician located in Anderson, SC.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshooting and repair of Nurse Call, RTLS, Wireless IP Phones, Paging systems and other systems related to critical care communications in the hospital
  • Keep records of maintenance, repair, and required updates of equipment.
  • Oversees or assists in building telecommunication closets while adhering to applicable standards and specifications.
  • Tests and evaluates newly installed or existing hardware to determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility.
  • Utilizes technical manuals and brochures to determine equipment which meets establishment requirements.
  • Report directly to our customer’s site daily
  • Must have availability to be on call

Qualifications

Education/Experience:

  • 5 years’ experience and certification(s) in installation and programming of Nurse Call systems – preferably Ascom Telligence but experience with other major manufacturers would be considered
